Saturday, October 6, 11am-12pm for ages 3-6 and 12:30-2:30pm for ages 7-16youth workshopCome learn firsthand about all the wonderful things happening for kids at ChappPAC this fall. Join Westchester’s finest musical theatre instructors on-stage and learn about all the opportunities for kids this fall at ChappPAC. From 11am-12pm, students ages 3-6 will learn a song from Peter Pan and perform for parents and friends on stage at the end of the workshop. From 12:30-2:30 students ages 7-11 and 12-16 will learn and perform a song and dance from Hamilton.

Free Community Concert – USAF Heritage of America Band

Saturday, October 13, 2018, 2:00pm to 3:00pmUSAF Heritage of America BandThe ensemble embraces the full range of the quintet repertoire, while also exploring various instrument combinations, providing audiences with a unique concert experience. The quintet is a component of the U.S. Air Force Heritage of America Band. As professional Airman-musicians, the members of Heritage Winds are dedicated to using the power of music to honor our veterans, inspire patriotism, and communicate the Air Force story.

Jordan Matter Book Launch

Sunday, October 14th at 5:00 (doors open at 4:00pm)jordan matter flyerAs a real joint effort with the ChappPac, Friends of the ChappPAC and Arts & Culture Committee, Scattered Books will be hosting a live presentation by famed dance photographer (and social media legend) Jordan Matter and launching his new book, Born to Dance. His previous book, Dancers Among Us, was wildly popular, and his 10-minute challenges on Instagram and You Tube have drawn 1M+ followers.

Jordan’s work is known worldwide and we are thrilled to host his very first public appearance in conjunction with his new book! All tickets come with a seat to the live presentation, which is inspiring and has an anti-bullying and self-esteem building undertone, plus a signed book and a selfie/photo with Jordan. VIP ticket-holders will enjoy a private meet & greet prior to the presentation at 4:30 and front row seating. Additional copies of his books will be available for purchase at the event and Jordan will sign more than 1 copy.

Wicked Workshop

Monday, October 15, 4:30pm-6:30pmWicked WorkshopExclusive opportunity for young theater lovers to Join two current Broadway actors who are former cast members of Wicked! Arielle Jacobs whose Broadway credits include; Jasmine in Aladdin (current), Wicked, In the Heights and Rent and Alicia Albright whose Broadway credits include dance captain in Frozen (current) and Dance Captain in Wicked, as well as national tours of All Shook Up and Seven Brides for Seven Brothers. Participants will learn a portion of a Wicked song and dance combo from Broadway cast members and two professional music directors. The session culminates with the students performing on stage for parents and friends and a Q&A session with the actors about their experience to educate and inspire the next generation of performers and theatre lovers.

Two separate age groups: 7-12 and 13-18

Early Bird (prior to September 25): $150 per workshop

After September 25th: $175 per workshop

Brahms Sextets Concert Series

Tim Kubart and the Space Cadets

November 3 @ 1:00 pm – 3:00 pmTim KubartTim Kubart’s concerts are an indie pop dance party for all ages. Joined on stage by his band, the “Space Cadets” (and a tap-dancing sidekick!), Tim performs songs celebrating real life kid and family moments and milestones. No matter the venue, a Tim Kubart and the Space Cadets show is highly interactive, musically rich, and always speaks to kids at the top of their intelligence.

Monday, November 26, 4:30pm-6:30pmaudition workshopJoin Tony Award winner Lindsay Mendez (Carousel, Wicked, Godspell, Grease) and Broadway star Derek Klena (Anastasia, Wicked, Bridges of Madison County) to learn about musical theatre technique and audition preparation. These two veterans of Broadway will provide insightful instruction in a fun and encouraging environment. Chapp PACFounded in 2017, ChappPAC was established to provide diverse arts and cultural programming for people throughout Westchester County and the region. Located in the heart of Chappaqua on the former Reader’s Digest campus, this amazing 425 seat venue was recently saved from demolition and brought back to life through a unique consortium of municipal and private support.
