Roaring Brook Road Improvements
Travelers on Roaring Brook Road got a pleasant surprise for a change when passing from the Parkway up to the high school- DPW took advantage of the mild weather last week to pave the worst section of the road on Friday. This was a great stop gap measure as Summit Greenfield is scheduled to do work on the road this summer in connection with the High School entrance project. Complete paving of the road will not be scheduled until all work on Roaring Brook Road is completed.

Construction Manager Candidate Presentations
Tomorrow Night, March 1, 2017, The Board will be hearing from three potential candidate firms for Construction Manager for the Downtown Infrastructure Project. The work session will be recorded and accessible to the public to view.

Basketball Court Update

The RFP for engineering work on the basketball court and playground areas is being finalized and should be out next week. This is our first step in the construction project for the new basketball court and relocation of the playground. We want to thank Senator Murphy for his support that enabled the Town to secure the $100,000 grant to construct the basketball court. We are very excited at the prospect of finally getting this project off the ground and built. It is long overdue.
