Administrator’s Report 3.13.2017

With the impending storm- we just want to remind everyone- that there a snow emergency declared as of 10 pm Monday through 10 am Wednesday. The purpose of this is to allow our DPW the ability to clear the roads safely. Our crews will be arriving at 4 am to stay on top of the snow- which at this point is predicted to be upwards of a foot ( closer to two).

In addition, if you are leaving your car at the train station, there are clearly designated areas for winter overnight parking- the triangle adjacent to town hall and by the skate park for you to leave your car overnight and not get ticketed. Again, the purpose of this designated area is to allow our crews to clear the parking lot safely and efficiently.

If you lose power during the storm, or have downed wires- please call CON ED Immediately- 1800-75-Coned.

There will be no garbage pick-up on Tuesday. All Tuesday and Wednesday curb and backdoor customers will have their garbage and recycling picked up on Wednesday. Town Hall will be closed tomorrow due to the weather. We will re-open 10 am on Wednesday, March 15.
