Downtown Chappaqua Infrastructure and Streetscape Project

Town Engineer Bob Cioli, Terry Rowe, Steve Coleman, along with Con Ed overhead and ELQ and John Kazawic met this morning for over two hours to discuss and finalize plans for the relocation of 18 utility poles as part of our down town infrastructure project. All permits have been secured and we expect the project to be underway next week.

Con Ed Gas Main Replacement Project

We have also reached out to NYSDOT and Con Ed restoration about restoring the trench that runs up a significant length of the King Street Hill, Senter Street and North Greeley. The trench is a result of their gas main replacement project from last winter and the cold patch they used left a significant depression along the entire length of the trench. We will keep the Board apprised of the date for restoration when Con Ed gets back to us.

Parking Permit Season is about to begin! All permits are expire on June 14. On line registration is now open for the 2018-2019 parking season.

Refuse / Recycling

SaniPro has recently made some changes as to how they are collecting residents refuse/recycling. In the past they had 3 split packers collecting both refuse/recycling at the same time on the same day. Now they are still running 3 trucks, but 2 single packers are collecting refuse and 1 single packer collecting recycling so residents refuse and recycling are still being collected on the same day but by a different truck and not usually the same time.
