The Town Administrator is appointed by and responsible to the Town Board and acts as the chief administrative officer for the Town.
The Assessor is responsible for valuing all Real Property within the municipal boundaries for the purposes of taxation for Town, County, School, Fire, and all Special Districts.
New Castle's Comptroller oversees the budget preparation with the Town Administrator, and prepares and files monthly reports

The Department of Public Works is comprised of several units, together the Department has been able to maintain intradepartmental functions in an efficient manner and reduce operating costs.
