Camp Policies & Procedures: COVID-19
With camp starting just around the corner, there are a few items that we would like to share in preparation for the first day of camp. Please see the descriptions of these documents below:

Camper Health Assessment Form – For the safety of all involved, campers and staff will be required to fill out and return this form before they enter the camp premise, where a temperature and wellness check will be taken. Every day following a temperature check will be taken and recorded, as well as a review of this form to ensure there has been no exposure or symptoms of COVID-19. Please return this form upon drop-off on the first day of camp. Camper’s will not be able to attend camp if this form is not returned or completed.

Camp COVID Positive Flow Chart – Provided by the Westchester County Department of Health, this document reviews the steps that will be taken should a camper or staff member be tested POSITIVE for COVID-19.
Hand Sanitizer Authorization Form- This form allows staff to distribute EPA approved hand sanitizer. Hand sanitizer will be distributed between activities when hand washing in not available. Please return this form before or on the first day of camp.
Sunscreen Authorization Form – This form allows staff to help campers, in their group ONLY, apply SPRAY sunscreen if necessary. Staff will not be able to assist campers in applying lotion based sunscreen. Please return this form before or on the first day of camp.
Immunizations- Please be sure to send us a copy of your child’s immunization records BEFORE the start of camp if you have not done so already. These records are required by the Westchester County Department of Health and a child cannot begin camp until these forms are turned in.
Policies & Procedures- In this document, released last week, outline the policies & procedures due to COVID-19 that we will be implementing to make the camp as safe as possible this summer.
Camp Tick/Insect Spray Authorization Form - This form allows staff to help campers re-apply insect/tick spray during the camp day. Camp Adventure will not provide spray, so if you wish to have it re-applied, please send it with your camper.
