Chappaqua Fire Department
The Chappaqua Fire Department is a 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year municipal service staffed by 100% volunteers. These volunteers are your neighbors who you see on the train each day, you coach sports teams with, go to your place of worship, work in local establishments, eat in the same restaurants and who you socialize with.

Chappaqua Volunteer Ambulance Corps
For more than 80 years, Chappaqua Volunteer Ambulance Corps (CVAC) has provided emergency care to those who visit, live, or work in New Castle. CVAC is entirely composed of volunteers.

Millwood Fire Company
The Millwood Fire District and Millwood Fire Company #1, Inc. were established in the 1920's to protect the lives and property of those living in Millwood as well as parts of Chappaqua, Ossining, and Briarcliff. It is a private department, whose members are on a volunteer-only status. Responding at any time of the day, our members disappear from their place of work and homes, leaving behind their jobs and families to proudly and professionally protect the Millwood Fire District.

Animal Control
The Animal Control Officer responds to dog complaints, bites, and wildlife complaints. Wildlife must be sick or injured for the Animal Control Officer to respond. Wildlife in homes or on property that are not sick or injured may be removed at the property owners expense by hiring a Nuisance Wildlife Agent.
If you have questions concerning dog licenses or other inqUiries concerning animals call the Animal Control Officer at 914-238-7283.
