A movement began in NYC for everyone to go outside and clap for the healthcare workers at 7 p.m. every night. Now, it has swept the nation as communities band together to show appreciation to their tireless devotion.
Each night at 7 p.m., people go outside and bang pots, applaud, yell and scream. It often echos throughout a town, creating a global community. We may be isolated, but we are not alone. We may not be able to go to the hospitals and thank the EMTs in person, but if we are loud enough, maybe they will hear us. They are extraordinary.
Please join us each night at 7 p.m. to make some noise. Take pictures and videos and use the hashtags below. #clapbecausewecare #clapbecausewecareNYC #clapforcarers #StayHomeSaveLives
