Join us on at the sign/platform by the pond at Gedney Park for a Tree Walk in Gedney Park. This event will be lead by our committee member, Missy Fabel, who is also a professional landscaper, specializing in native plants. It will take about 45 minutes. Come learn about the various tree species featured at Gedney; ones that you’re also likely to see in your own yards! One stop will be the 100 newly planted tree saplings as part of the Trees for Tribs program. This event will be in celebration of Arbor Day, and is part of our town’s Tree City Initiative. Please be prepared to do some walking - comfortable shoes and of course, wear a mask.
