Instructions for the Public to access the Planning Board meeting remotely:

The Town of New Castle Planning Board will not be meeting in person. In accordance with recent amendments to the NYS Public Officer’s Law (Open Meetings Law), until further notice, meetings will be held via videoconferencing. The Planning Board meeting will held at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 5, 2022. You will have an opportunity to see and hear the meeting live via Zoom and YouTube platforms. Written comments for any public comment session or public hearings can be sent in advance of the meeting to

If you have a computer, tablet or smartphone, you can register, log in and see the video and hear the audio of the live session.

We will also have a telephone dial-in number if you don’t have a computer, or have problems with your computer’s audio.

Make sure:

  1. Register in advance for this webinar:

    Provide your name and e-mail address when registering so we can send a confirmation e-mail to you containing the web address and phone number for joining the webinar.

  2. On Tuesday evening, log in with your computer and, if needed, your telephone. You’ll be placed on hold until the meeting starts.

The meeting will also be live-streamed on if you’re having problems with Zoom.

Applicant submission materials and copies of Town Staff review memoranda on applications can be found on the Town’s website at under “Town Government – Town Code – Agendas – Select Category - Planning Board submission materials.” Town meetings can be viewed live and as replays on Verizon Channel 47 or Cablevision Channel 78. Recordings of Town meetings can be viewed online at
