Join us Wednesday, 7/22 through Saturday 7/25 for the annual Chappaqua Summer Sidewalk Sale. Merchandise will be up to 75% off
This year we’ve included a Sidewalk Sale Map to assist patrons and highlight the incremental safety features of the sale:
- With the partnership of the New Castle Police Department, there will be 3 Police Officers stationed in the Hamlet. One will be located at King & S. Greeley; one will be located at S. Greeley & Woodburn Ave. and the last Officer will be walking through the hamlet to ensure patrons are wearing their masks or social distancing.
- The parking spots in front of South Greeley (on the East side of the street) will be converted as a pedestrian walkway. On the attached map, please refer to the map for alternative parking options.
- There will be 3 Sanitizer Stations in the Hamlet. Thank you to Councilman Jason Lichtenthal for procuring these stations. One will be located at the Bluestone Patio in front of Great Stuff; one on the Lower King Blue Stone patio and the third one will be in Marion Place, next to Citibank.
You can utilize this map to plan your shopping route. It includes all of the participating shops along with their descriptions. You can also call ahead for a virtual shopping experience, curbside pick-up, or make an in-store shopping time reservation. Download map here.
With the start of the Sidewalk Sale, we’re kicking off the Shop Local. Shop Safe. campaign sponsored by the Discover Chappaqua Committee. The Town of New Castle encourages everyone to support our local and small businesses while wearing their masks. Thank you to Stephanie Steinberg for helping us create the new signage around town.
Remember to Mask Up. It’s the Law. Shop Local. Shop Safe
