Con Edison understands being without power, even during normal times, is a real hardship. It’s even more difficult now because of COVID-19. To help we have expanded our claims policy for customers who lost power after the destructive tropical storm. Customers without power for 48 hours or more since Thursday can fill out a claims form <https://www.coned.com/en/services-and-outages/claim-form> to cover spoiled food, medication, or perishable commercial merchandise.
As stated on the municipal conference call, we have attached the Residential and Commercial claim forms to be used by the customers seeking reimbursement.
