2020-2021 School tax bills have been mailed. If you, as opposed to your bank, are responsible for the payment of your property taxes, including these school taxes, and have not received your tax bill, the please contact the Tax Office at 238-4773 or email Taxes@mynewcastle.org. The first half of the 2020-2021 school tax bill is due without penalty by Wednesday, September 30.
We encourage the public to use the drop box in the lobby of Town Hall as well as mailing their tax payments. Please make sure you see the post office affix a US post mark for proof of timely mailing. We remind our residents that the Tax office will hold post-dated checks. In order to take advantage of this option, simply mail in or leave payments in the first floor drop box with the date on or before September 30 that you want us to pay your bill and we will hold the payment for deposit on that date. We will send receipts for all tax payments and can email confirmations of receipt if requested. The Town also offers residents the ability to pay taxes on-line. There is no charge for using our on-line payment system to pay via ACH payment. Please note that our on-line system only allows you to pay on the date of the transaction and does not accommodate future payments. You may also use our on-line system to pay your tax bill by credit card. The credit card option charges a service fee.
