Chappaqua Fire Department (CFD)
For years, CFD has been planning to rebuild its firehouse and purchase new apparatus that are at or beyond their 20-year service life. These plans are unrelated to the proposed FBC and greater FGEIS. Should CFD purchase a 100-foot ladder truck in the future, it could access higher floors at Bell Middle School where its current apparatus cannot reach.
Chappaqua Volunteer Ambulance Corps (CVAC)
The CVAC does not oppose the FBC and has stated they will be able to handle any additional calls that result from its implementation on N. Greeley as well as the maximum hypothetical build out as studied in the FGEIS.
New Castle Police Department (NCPD)
The NCPD is confident it will be able to handle any new development that occurs under the proposed FBC and the hypothetical maximum build out as examined in the FGEIS.
