Extension of Saw Mill Sewer District- Meeting with County
Last Friday, staff and Council Member Ivy Pool met with Marion Pompa, from the Westchester County Department of Environmental Facilities about the County’s proposed extension of the Saw Mill Sanitary Sewer Trunk line up NYS Route 120 from Hunts Place to the first entrance of the Wagon Road Camp. The project is in the concept phase. The County has earmarked monies in the 2019 County Budget for engineering services to layout the new sewer. The County expects to issue an RFP for Engineering services for that layout this year, and with construction planned in 2021-2022. We will keep the Board and residents posted of the progress and also the proposed creations of other local sewer districts which can be constructed via connections to the trunk line in other locations.
Thank you to NCCMC!
Thanks to NCCMC for the purchase and installation of the new monitors upstairs and down stairs at Town Hall. These monitors scroll the calendar for Town Hall, contain a site directory, and alert readers to Town programs and other relevant information. We so appreciate their initiative and expertise in bringing 21st century technology to the Town.

Zoning RFP Review
Sabrina Charney Hull, our Director of Planning, reviewed the four Zoning RFP responses we received two weeks ago. She hopes to provide the Board with a matrix of the responses by next week so the Board can discuss our next steps.
When we rescheduled this town board meeting from last night to tonight due to the ice storm, we understood that County Legislator Mike Kaplowitz might not be able to attend tonight. We have rescheduled his appearance for the March 12, 2019 meeting. We apologize for the inconvenience and we thank Mike for the accommodation. We look forward to seeing him on March 12.There will be no meeting next week due to school break, and our next meeting will be February 26, 2019.
