Infrastructure Update

On February 15, Staff met with ELQ and Boswell and held another construction meeting. We are still scheduled to restart the project on April 1. We had a follow-up meeting with Con Ed and Verizon on Friday February 22 to discuss the time table for the removal of the last poles. Once Verizon removes poles along South Greeley and North Greeley, sidewalk excavation can begin as of April 1.

Pothole Season is Here!

Please remember to report potholes to Potholes@MyNewCastle.org. Please be aware that pothole filling is a weather dependent operation. When the temperatures dip to around freezing or it is wet, we are unable to make the necessary repairs. Also, please remembers that certain roads are state roads (120, 117, 128, 100, 133 & 134) and others are county (Pines Bridge Road, Seven Bridges Road & North State Road). For potholes on those roads, we will report them to NYS DOT or Westchester County Department of Public Works.
