Paving Status of Commuter Lot
Prior to this year, we have repaved major sections of the commuter lot in august of 2016, 2017 and 2018. We did not pave the outstanding sections of the lot this year due to a developing issue with the culvert over Tercia Brook in the back parking lot. The condition of the culvert required the Town’s attention and we will be making Interim repairs during last two weeks in August.
Total culvert replacement is scheduled for next summer. We are waiting for Con Ed to relocate high voltage lines that are embedded in the existing culvert in order to replace it. In the meantime, we will repairing the concrete to reinforce the existing structure until it can be replaced next year.
Last night was our last Town Board meeting for August. Our next Board meeting is Wednesday, September 4, 2019.Summer hours end on Friday August 30. Regular Town Hall hours of 8:45 am – 4:30 pm resume after Labor Day.
