2018 Tentative Budget

Presentation of the 2018 Tentative Budget began last Tuesday, 10.2 evening at the Town Board work session. It continued to Wednesday, 10.3 from 8 am to 11 am. The final work session on the 2018 Tentative Budget will be held Thursday morning 10.12 from 8 am to 11 am. Rob Deary, the Town Comptroller, will then take the Board’s changes and incorporate them into the 2018 Preliminary Budget. This will be the budget that we will set the public hearings on – that public hearing is planned to be scheduled for November 28. Click here for my Budget Message – Tentative Budget 2018.

Final Paving Project of the Season

As promised- weather permitting, Shingle House Rd will be paved this Thursday (from 7-7)- it will be closed to thru traffic during this time- local residents/ school buses/ first responders will be able to access. Code Red alerts will be sent out town wide starting tonight.

King Street Sidewalk 120

The project will be approximately 95% complete by October 13, 2017 and completed by the end of this month, which is approximately three weeks ahead of schedule. Landi will be back in the Spring- after Con Ed completes its gas main replacement – to complete the rest of the sidewalk replacement from Ridgewood Terrace to Elm.
